Very nice state park campground. Only down side is the pull-thrus. Unless you really no how to manuever large trees and tight spots, request a back-in. Very nice bike trail and many other great state park type activities.

Wonderful gem of a campground. The small size makes it seem like a little town with everyone waving and saying hello whenever you pass by. Easy access to the ocean at a price that is way lower than the two neighboring campgrounds. Excellent home base for exploring and enjoying the Outer Banks. Bathrooms were always clean and although some complain about the stalls and showers, we had no problems. I would definitely stay here again. We camped for 10 days.
